Information
Shake-it.dk is the largest online recipe of drinks and cocktails in Denmark. It has been online for about 20 years and various formats, and we were chosen to make the new and more ambitious version, making them a one-stop destination for your parties and events with responsible drinking.
Building a new brand identity
The old brand identity was simple and was basically a shaker with an S inside of it. We ended up with also having an S as the icon, and build it by three strokes representing the three main ingredients in a cocktail; the core (base spirit), the balance (sugar), and seasoning (bitters). This is backed up with a changing colour palette that matches the drinks and the Liquor brands and illustrations of some key ingredients.
The site
We have built the site on Craft CMS with a Shopify shop engine and a range of other systems for Loyalty, CRM etc.
The site is very modular and connects the shopping experience in close to the recipe universes and the inspiration sections, to create a trifecta of content that is all shaken together to form the ideal cocktail for the user. See what we did there?
